The Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame was founded in 1975 and is housed in the Eagle River Sports Arena. The hall was established to honor outstanding individuals responsible for the development, growth and success of amateur ice hockey in the State of Wisconsin.
The Hall is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. During the season it opens and closes when the rink does which is usually before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. The Hall of Fame is looking for hockey memorabilia for permanent display to help people see how the sport has grown in the State of Wisconsin. If you would like to make a donation of memorabilia, or would like to otherwise contribute to the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame, please contact Don Mulder at (920) 238-0180.

Don Kohlman was an avid sportsman, but his true passion was Hockey. For over 55 years he gave his talent and time as a player, coach, manager, and builder of the game. Don was one of the original founding members of the Blue-Line Hockey Club and an active member of the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association and USA Hockey. Don was a founder of the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame and was inducted in 1977. He was named “Man of the Year” by USA Hockey in 2006. He was often referred to as “Mr. Hockey”.
